History

Sicilian Food Suppliers Ltd is a UK based Italian wholesaler and distributer. Since 2003 we have been importing high-end, authentic Sicilian products that Italy has to offer and supplying to the finest restaurants, farm shops, delis and hotels throughout London.

2003

Sicilian Food Suppliers Ltd. humble beginning started with a pure love for the taste of fresh, authentic Sicilian food. With a desire to spread the flavours of our home, we began importing food looking for customers as a wholesaler. Supplying customers with only the best and freshest ingredients, word spread around and we began to grow as a company.

2007

This invitation shifted our company in terms of trading: the Italian market events opened around the UK and we supplied our food products to over 44 events in the first year. After this, we opened our own first Italian market in 2007, which included 12 stalls of high-uality food.

As our popularity grew, founder Stefano Leone, was invited to be interviewed on the radio by Grimsby’s mayor. This broadcast spread across the whole country. We felt proud and accomplished; excited by the recognition of our great and high-standard food products.

2009

The expansion of our business continued to grow with momentum: by 2009 we established markets across the whole country. From London to Inverness, customers were enjoying our fresh Italian produce!

2011

2011 In 2011, we were approached by Westfield Stratford for the grand opening. Our Coffee Deli shop was established there and thrived for five years.
